Tape-In
The Discreet and Versatile Choice
Think of tape-ins as a more flexible and less involved way to add volume and length.
The Process: Tape-in extensions consist of small, individual hair wefts with a special adhesive tape at the base. These wefts are “sandwiched” between sections of your natural hair, close to the root.
Look and Feel: Tape-ins are lightweight and lie flat against the head. This makes them virtually seamless and fantastic for achieving a natural look. They move very naturally with your hair.
Versatility: Because the wefts are individual, they can be placed strategically to add volume in specific areas or create layered effects. They are also quite versatile for different hairstyles.
Maintenance: Similar to sew-ins, tape-in extensions must be adjusted as your natural hair grows. We recommend a move-up every 6-8 weeks. During this process, the extensions are gently removed using a special solution, the old tape is replaced, and the tape is re-applied closer to the scalp.
Considerations: Due to their lightweight and flat application, tape-ins are excellent for most hair types, including fine hair. However, using sulfate-free shampoos is crucial to prevent the tape from slipping and to avoid applying oily products directly to the roots.
